Admission Guideline

Foreign students are invited to apply for enrolling in following bachelor degrees:

ü Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.)

ü Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Honours)

ü  Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry (Honours)

ü  Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics (Honours)

ü Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering

ü  Bachelor of Science in Food Engineering

ü  Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics Engineering

ü   Bachelor of Science in Fisheries (Honours)

 

Application process for bachelor degrees:

ü First of all, a student has to go through the degrees that BAU offers, then choose one among them for study

ü Students may download/collect the soft copy of the admission form available on the admission page (admission form)

ü Student will have to submit/ send his/her previous certificates, transcripts, a copy of a valid passport (the page containing the applicant’s details) and equivalence certificates (that certify his/ her degree is accepted globally) by post or e-mail

ü A student must submit a recent health fitness report to show his/her physical fitness

ü If a student is eligible for admission after evaluation by the concerned committee as per University admission rules, an admission letter will be issued stating his/her name and passport number. If required by the embassy, other information may also be provided

ü The student on arrival should immediately report to the University admission section and complete all the required official formalities of enrollment

Admission requirements and process

1.   Applicant must have completed twelve (12) years of schooling in English medium with physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and securing at least 50% marks in individual subject.

2.   Eligibility of admission will be assessed by a committee of the respective Faculty studying the submitted documents and after satisfactory performance of the students during face to face interview by viber/whatsapp/skype etc.

4.   The application in English must include the following documents in single pdf file to be send to the email address [email protected]

1.      All academic certificates and records

a.       Secondary School Certificate/O-Level/Equivalent

b.      Higher Secondary Certificate/A-Level/Equivalent

c.       Recent passport size photograph 

d.      English proficiency certificate 

e.       Health certificate (HIV and yellow fever test certificate for the African national)

f.        Copy of passport 

g.      National identity card (if any) 

2.       Original copy of all certificates and transcripts must be submitted to the university  at the time of enrolment
